Simakakata Community School, Zambia.

Overview

In order to educate their children the community at Simakakata borrowed an old farmhouse and set up their own school. It’s dark, there are no doors and the roof leaks. But that’s the least of their worries. The farmhouse is borrowed and the school has to give it back.

So far four classrooms have been funded and the council have agreed to sink a borehole to provide clean water. The school needs one more classroom and five teacher’s houses. There are 3 ways you can help.
